Favoriting Seven Second Delay with Andy and Ken: Playlist from December 6, 2017 Favoriting

The program formerly known as Dinner at Andy's, The Fuzzy Glove Hour, Whores, and The Happiness Hut. Ken and Andy, also known as The Enema Boys, further lower WFMU's already abysmal standards on a weekly basis. Stunt radio which subjects the radio audience to concepts and topics which mature adults should not have to endure. Find the fatal flaw. (Visit homepage.)

Will Bill Clinton references ever not be relevant? I think not.

My sources indicate this was replayed on 12/25/2013. www.wfmu.org...

Fredericks:

Ah. Someone should tell Ken. Or was that a repeat intro as well? At least Jesse Helms jokes never get old.

Avatar 6:15pm

It's not sped up. They were younger!

Fredericks:

Wish I bought that insurance.

-Ken:

Yes, not sped up. Although it was recorded on cassette, and it's possible that the cassette was running slow, therefore recording it fast. But mostly I think it sounds sped up just because Andy is so young and enthusiastic.

what a bunch of psychos

Tommy in Neversink:

I'm seriously concerned with the legal implications to FMU. Taking calls of people who committed murder and didn't get caught
  6:24pm
John in Bklyn:

1992, wow. Might as well be 1892!
  6:25pm
John in Bklyn:

Go-go dancer. Dope. Sounds so antiquated!

I thought it was 1492. :/

most of these are bullshit. straight out of the sharpling school of lame-ass acting. this episode is probably where tom got the idea from.
  6:45pm
JakeGould:

The thing is… All these callers are really, really, really good at selling it.

  6:48pm
John in Bklyn:

Some of them sound like Joe Frank character actors who weren't good enough to make his show!
Avatar 🚂 Swag For Life Member 6:48pm
-Ken:

@coelacanth0, sorry to disagree, I think the "Here's Your Stinking Hammer" call was genius.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:49pm

John in Bklyn:

The last one was the best.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:54pm
PigeonsAndRust:

You can tell it was an April Fools show because no legitimate 7SD episode would ever get so many on-topic callers!

Ochre Ogre:

Ah yes April 1!! Tuned in late freaking me out first. If I had a stinking hammer I'd...

The way I remember this episode, at the end Ken and Andy admit the callers were friends of Andy. They named them, and one of them was Al Franken. Not that he had real misdeeds to confess...

em2cl:

the first time I heard this episode, probably when it was re-run in 2013, I totally fell for it.... I remember thinking it was quite a relief to hear it was a prank
