Hey all. I got my chainsaw fixed! Apparently my late father's chainsaw was a pro model now worth $700 or so! I must cut out a stump (done that) and cut down a tree (first time!).
The kid looks a bit like Mickey Rooney.
  3:05pm
Dean:

I met Mickey Rooney at (now razed) Hollywood Park.

berbo:

But last night there were 4 (!) youg'uns running around the yard. And the garden. And eating up the chili plants!

Hi everybody from Las Vegas, today I'm board to death editing fetish porn so I'm tuning in. Hope Irwin can keep me entertained!
Avatar 👻 3:10pm
βrian:

You mean "Fattoush porn," right?
  3:17pm
Dean:

That's the famous "Boy, Bunny, and Predator Seagull," by Roy A. Bretemps, that prompted Cezanne to give up painting.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:19pm
Irwin:

Yes, it is.

My hair got bigger just listening to Pink Flag...

I had to give a brief public speech yesterday afternoon to a group of, oh, about fifty. Pretty sure that was the look on my face, too.

Irwin, you are a treasure. Been listening to you since Hour of the Duck (70's?). You're wonderful.

Waterfall Person reminds me of Flying Lizards in that there is odd music with weird vocals.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:57pm

Shannon still has only one clicky-star. Shameful.

DL in LA:

If I heart a song in the WFMU mobile app, does it become a clicky star?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:57pm
Kat in Chicago:

Clicky-starred for the line about the bugs
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:59pm
Devin B.:

Maybe everyone had a meeting for five minutes exactly when Shannon Shaw was on and you just need to play it again?

Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:18pm
Kat in Chicago:

@DL not sure? I checked one of mine a while back and it didn't update to a clicky star, but I didn't have the latest version of the app or iOS at the time.

(as this is a piano tune, i once saw Tift Merritt do a free show at the apple store, soho, nyc. she prefaced one song by saying "my father taught me to play piano with 3 fingers, so that's all i can do". kinda kute. and spk'ng of Merritt, the Magnetic Fields saturday show at the apollo was really so nice. will need to go to the archives for his 2hr appearance with Irwin here last month.)
