	2:53pm still b/p: I know this is naive, but rather than skeptical Columbia getting nothing from the recording effort, wouldn't it have been worth it for the company to allow some kind of hand-off -- letting some smaller label or enterprise see what they could do with distribution and finding some attention?
	2:55pm Duane: still bp: I think it was more Columbia mot wanting Mathis to be more than a balladeer. He just had a number 1 with Deniece Williams and they thought that this was too "radical" was what Mathis said what happened.
