ngh when i put palabara eses into a search it gave me palabra meses which translates as word months
  12:23am
rw:

Hello! What's the image on the playlist? I can't figure it out.
  12:28am
rich:

rw it is part of a structure/sculpture in muenster germany. the yellow tubing and the spikes, i believe, are to keep anyone from reaching the roof. the spikes definitely are, the tubing may just be decoration

hello rich and others
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:41am
coelacanth∅:

ha, maybe in germany most people would respect that sculpture &/or the deterrent; in the us or russia those deterrents wouldn't even slow some people down.
a cloud of razor wire might hold back the macho boys for a while.

I was wondering if it was a futuristic house with an overbuilt rain gutter. Looks like you could park a car underneath. Did you shoot the photo?
And hey coel, ngh, Mike tp and everybody! Hope everyone's doing well.
  12:44am
rich:

yes shot on vacation as are all the photos atop my playlists with the exception of one tamar took
  12:48am
rich:

not really shot more like clicked
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:49am
coelacanth∅:

hey rw!
  12:49am

Nice clicking. Just scrolled back through the playlists. Your vacations are much too interesting. I'm more than a little jealous.

that phrase always bothered me. i never gave it much thought until once, when i was "supervisor" of a darkroom, on tuesday when a guy i knew just from there came in and said "so who'd you shoot over the weekend?" even though we were in a darkroom i had to wonder what the fuck he was talking about for a second!
  1:04am
rw:

Now I want to try climbing that rain gutter.
  1:05am
rw:

I feel like I could make it.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:08am
coelacanth∅:

you could do it. just don't lose your strength crawling over the spikes! ...but it looks like you might even be able to shimmy under them.
  1:11am
rw:

Rich, I think you misspelled Friedlander. I noticed because I was copying and pasting into the browser.

coelacanth, I'm glad you have confidence in my athletic abilities. I was picturing going around the spikes; holding on to them to keep from falling.
  1:14am
rich:

i felt like most germans probably do, it could be interesting to get to the roof but if i walk another 10 minutes there's a nice little beer garden i can sit in for awhile
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:19am
coelacanth∅:

i guess going around it is less risky (unless you can go under it)...although i can see myself if i slipped a little jerking forward and impaling myself on my neck behind the chin. left hanging there to die of embarrassment, among other things. i'd try it anyway!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:20am
coelacanth∅:

...then again, relaxing in a beer garden is easier.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:22am
coelacanth∅:

i always thought badfinger tried to sound like the beatles...and maybe they did; but i've come to think that a lot of that sound was how they were directed, and being produced.
  1:25am
rw:

I was thinking that song sounded like Bread. But you're right. It sounded more like Badfinger, who, of course, sounded a lot like the Beatles.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:25am
coelacanth∅:

when McCartney gave them "come and get it" they wanted to make changes to it, to personalize it, but McCartney said No! you have to do it exactly as i say. that's the hit. (and it was)
..."dear angie" doesn't sound like the beatles to me at all.
  1:26am
rw:

Just looked it up. It WAS Badfinger.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:27am
coelacanth∅:

right - but much more so after they were signed. i liked them better the less they sounded like the beatles....because they WEREN'T the beatles!
  1:32am
rw:

When I hear This Ain't The Summer Of Love I always wish I had bought Agents of Fortune when it came out. But that other song on the album kind of ruined it for me.
  1:40am
rich:

rw that song always bothered me too because this aint the summer of love, tattoo vampire and the revenge of vera gemini deserved a small percentage of its airplay
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:45am
coelacanth∅:

this is what happened to my copy of agents of fortune
  1:50am
rw:

I don't know Tattoo Vampire. I'm going to look it up. I do remember Vera Gemini getting a little airplay but only on the more progressive station in town.

coel, at least it was well loved!
  1:51am
rw:

And I like that you have a photo of it! I mean SHOT a photo of it.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:52am
coelacanth∅:

i shot that shit!
  1:55am
rw:

Love shootin' the shit.
