	3:31pm northguineahills: The first time I saw William Basinski, I wasn't impressed. The second time, he blew me away. (nice chatty bloke, both times, nice lad!). I used to dj years ago at the same 'party' Lawrence English used to dj ambient sounds. Never saw him live, unfortunately.

	4:12pm northguineahills: I was in Bed-Stuy for the 2003 Blackout. Our neighbors told us to stay inside and not come out until everything was resolved (sort stood out in there back then). But me, being me, went w/ my downstairs neighbor to get beer. There was a block-sized bbq party, and, luckily, no rioting happened. (One of the few times my safety wasn't issue there in those days). It was fun, except having to shower every other hour just to not overheat.

There was no light in the gallery, and it was backed by one of his minimalist tracks. It was magical! Thanks david!
