Ugggh, I was on hold for 90 mins to talk to a loan officer for my student loans. My application automatically told me I owed over $600/mo. b/c the missus did a joint tax return since I was busy w/ a new job (and we're 1500 miles apart). Now, I just need one more step.

Well, my wife got a job, so that's a positive, I told her to explore other options instead of joint tax returns next year, but, she'll should start her citizenship process in the spring.
