Nate K.:

Crazy night, everyone. I'll try to make it fun.
  9:14pm
JakeGould:

Hey Nate! Some folks in Park Slope (I am assuming?) made some glow in the dark (!!!) “I Voted Late Night” stickers. twitter.com...
  9:17pm
yes:

Thank God for WFMU on nights like tonight. I voted early by mail-in ballot and watched a little of the results tonight and thought I can't take it. But hoping for the best regardless...Burn it down!
  9:19pm

@ JakeGould cool stickers!

Great set so far, thanks Nate!

These Brown Acid comps always sound so good.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:27pm
Nate K.:

I can't watch the election results too closely, but if something really good or really bad happens, let me know.
  9:28pm
JakeGould:

One great drinking game this evening is self-care in the face of potential bleakness.

Cheers indeed!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:30pm

@Medson, I'm waiting for them to run out of material, but it doesn't sound like it's happened yet.
  9:32pm

@JG ha exactly! @Nate I'm a ma'am not a sir, but no worries :)

CNN announced that Andrew Cuomo won the NY governer's race at 9:00:01 PM.

Holy shit this Blue Cheer is EXACTLY what I needed to hear. Thank you!!!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:34pm

@JayD, truth.

Timmy a bit like NoBunny?
  9:38pm
JakeGould:

Andrew Cuomo won? Really? Wow. Who cares. Sorry to say that but it’s pretty much solid in NY state you either get the corrupt Cuomo legacy or some Republican circle of hell.

I care about national results and locally I care about Max Rose and Andrew Gounardes winning. I hope! Make deep Brooklyn blue again.
  9:41pm
JakeGould:

For example, Max Rose now leads Dan Donovan barely less than 2%: 46.61% to 45.64%. Jesus is that cool and scary.

Jinx:

Timmy's Organism. Whoa!
  9:43pm
Dean:

The Clash, "I'm So Bored with the USA." Only appropriate tune for today, or any day, really.
  9:44pm
JakeGould:

In good news, that troll creature Kim Davis has lost her County Clerk job. Buh bye, bad lady.
  9:44pm
yes:

I've been really inspired by all the younger folks turning out to vote...hopefully it will make a difference, more so that they can feel their efforts are rewarded in some small way and so they'll keep voting in the future. We've still got a long way to go...
  9:45pm
yes:

@Dean apathy will get us nowhere ;-) (although I love that song)
  9:47pm
Dean:

Apathy? No. Anarchy? Yes, perhaps. Very possibly.
  9:47pm
yes:

Ha, YES
  9:50pm
JakeGould:

Nate, Florida and Virginia flipped blue.
  9:50pm
yes:

Woohoo!!!
  9:51pm
JakeGould:

In the House. Senate is still… Dunno.
  9:51pm
El Pierogie:

Sad night for anybody who isn’t a dope, politically speaking. Just my opinion.
  9:51pm
yes:

Thank you Parkland students :)
  9:52pm
JakeGould:

Just happy that some shooting or bullshit has not happened anywhere so far. And hopefully not at all.
  9:53pm
yes:

Yeah, good point. Fingers crossed...
  9:59pm
JakeGould:

Well, I’m done with election porn for tonight. I predict the House flips. Not so much the Senate. And I want Max Rose to win for my personal little world!

(referring to The Inmates, not any election results)
  10:47pm
JakeGould:

Wait, I lied! Max Rose won for Congress in Staten Island and Southern Brooklyn. And it looks like Andrew Gounardes will defeat Marty Golden for Senate. My part of Brooklyn might be going blue!
  10:49pm
yes:

Awesome JG! But I just saw Indiana and North Dakota Senate flipped red:( Love this Heron Oblivion song...they're amazing live.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:50pm
Nate K.:

@Joe, I didn't send that song out to Bob Menedez (but I assume he won).
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:50pm
Nate K.:

@Yes, I believe ND was expected to go that way.
  10:52pm
JakeGould:

I didn’t expect a perfect blue wave, but deep Brooklyn is often maligned as being conservative and closed minded. Having my neighborhood go blue is massive.
  10:52pm
JakeGould:

@yes: Where are you located?
  10:53pm
yes:

Los Angeles, my neighborhood is very blue...Congressman Adam Schiff in the House :)

I can get with the Seger System records and Smokin OPs lp. Silver Bullet Band is not my jam at all. I’m from Michigan too. Feel Like A Number is the on Silver Bullet Band song I dig.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:09pm

@Tim, I concede there's a LOT of cheese there, but I there are also a few hits that I can't help but like.

Nate, it’s official! Marty Golden conceded! He’s gone! Do a Twitter search on his name to see and an amazing endless scroll of “Brooklyn” farewells to the putz. So many curses! So much bad language! So good!
