	8:12pm northguineahills: I was 12 in Thailand. As per usual, I made my family hit all of the cultural/religious/historical/natural sites there. So, my experience was rather different then some adults today. (Museums are a must for me). @UM: (The wife makes the dessert pies)

	8:20pm doctorjazz: Thailand time was limited, just some time in Chiang Mai, including a few days at the Elephant Rescue Park there. Great place, the Rescue park, the elephants are ones that were abused, overworked, otherwise injured and brought to the park to recover and then just live in an open space with other elephants. They're fascinating animals-they form clicks and family units, and can be like middle school girls, spurning other elephants who want to enter their group. Great place to visit.
