Favoriting Bryce: Playlist from January 18, 2019 Favoriting

I never miscue a record. I am punctual, well-prepared, and dislike clutter. Outgoing and helpful, I'm always appropriately dressed. I do not behave erratically and have excellent penmanship. My CD's never skip, and I am in good health. I like all the notes, in any order.

Good thing that Sheila was there. If that had happen during, say, a Kenny G/Bryce transition, nobody would have worried for hours, no matter how much banging on doors happened

3" CDs are so cute.
Avatar 1:10pm
sphere:

but who can play them, Ike?
Avatar 1:12pm
Ike:

Many CD players can, even if they don't advertise it much because, heck, who's ever heard of a 3" CD anyway? Look for a smaller groove in the player's CD tray into which a 3" will fit perfectly. If that's there, it'll play.

This one sounds better on FM than on the MP3 stream to me. Comparing them, I hear a lot more of the water on FM. On the stream, the gong-y bass is deep but overwhelms the water, at least in my earbuds.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:48pm
tim from champaign:

Oh man, that makes perfect sense. I don't know why I wasn't comprehending it. Thanks for the explanations!

Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:50pm

@ike I hear the elements fairly balanced, but the water sounds kind of crispy. It would be fun to live within broadcast range and be able to compare.
Avatar 1:51pm

@kat i hear it like you do. if i'm not paying attention, the water has a bacon-ish sizzle to it.

@michael - I'm amazed by her. The first music she responded to at about 6 months old was 13th Floor Elevators 'You're Gonna Miss Me'. She started bouncing up and down and flapping her arms.

Avatar 2:38pm

@John, a while back, a semi-troll complained about the music and said it sounded like "marbles in a blender". That statement took off, and Bryce's Marathon T-shirt reflects it.

Trolls still pop up now and then, but this (and maybe Gothamist) seem to be two of the least troll-y parts of the Internet. Though there might be some Don Felder fans on Matt W.'s comments who think I'm a troll. But if I'm a troll, I'm a troll with tremendous style, class, and breeding. And I have a top hat.

John from Florham Park:

Bryce I admit there are some programs on this station I don’t really listen too, but far be it from me to go on there and tell them it sucks, won’t happen

Been mighty swell, Bryce. Thanks!

The song is barely even worth the effort I put into hating it, but now I'm addicted to coming up with new and innovative concepts for how to feed Don Felder to large zoo animals, anyway.
