Fabulous playlist! The polyphonic singing really got my attention in the first hour. I was thinking it was more Central African polyphony (like Aka), but pleased to learn about the Dorze.

Although... I'm pretty sure most of the world isn't listening to music this beautiful right now. Feeling pretty lucky about that.

@rw agreed both mushrooms envy and the music bliss we're experiencing right now.

I made so much Japanese curry (w/ my chilis and poblanos, and many veggies, and dry fried tofu), I have enough food for a most of the week.
Avatar 8:20pm
northguineahills:

@Mayuko: my first morning in Japan, jetlagged and groggy, I had Japanese curry (I was 10), so you know I had to figure out the recipe. (of course it took until my late 20s to it recreate perfectly, and now to my specification).
Avatar 8:26pm
northguineahills:

It's PSP/Gateway to Joy, so, I'm happy the Ainu have been recognized as an official indigenous minority in Japan. How that happened under Abe, I have no idea....
Avatar 8:26pm
Mayuko:

@ngh Now I am feeling the craving for JP curry too! Maybe I should make some when this show is over.
Avatar 8:29pm
ɨkɛ:

Wow, I have never been any good at making curry, but I suppose I've never really put my mind to it and tried all hard. Some friends and I trekked out to Mitsuwa today too, so I could've gotten some ingredients if I'd had my eyes on the prize.
