Great film that shows many of his famous fans. And...you can watch him draw and drink from a measuring cup.

I was lucky to design the big book "Drunk Stoned Brilliant Dead: The Artists and Writers Who Made the National Lampoon Insanely Great" for my pal Rick Meyerowitz. It has a chapter with fine selections of Gahan's work and very nice text by Rick about Gahan. I'll make sure Rick knows if he doesn't already somehow. What a tough reality.

I remember Rick Meyerowitz did a mural of the whole watergate gang engaging in coprophagia, with Ketchup bottles in their hands. Tell him we need him back.
	👻 5:08pm Listening Out There: @flashbabo: Was just reading "Nuts" after seeing the documentary. Great series about growing up and grownups. Seems a heckuva lot more realistic than Calvin and Hobbes or Peanuts, though I like those too.
	5:11pm Parq: I loved "Nuts" too, all the more because it was obviously about a city kid who lived in an apartment building. When I first started reading it, I didn't yet realize that this was a perspective that was about to disappear from the face of pop culture. I also loved GH's large-format cartoons, brilliant color renderings of scenes that would have done Charles Addams proud. "I Paint What I See", indeed.

I must say the book is very worthwhile and was one of the most fun books I've done, because the material is great and Rick Meyerowitz is Rick Meyerowitz. Flashbazbo, he'll be amused you recall the Watergate gang.
