Franco Twinkie:

Jake, that was a sitcom from?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:19pm
Matt from New Orleans:

It was a pretty bad spinoff of happy days
  8:19pm
Johnzon:

that sure was some high pitched backup singing on the blackboard song wow
  8:20pm
JakeGould:

That was a sitcom from the early 1980s and I am reading about it right now.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:20pm
Franco Twinkie:

Oh, okay. I missed that one, but I remember the name.
Avatar 🍷 Swag For Life Member 8:20pm
chresti:

I was just thinking the same, high pitch
  8:21pm
JakeGould:

“All the Happy Days people had written the first four episodes, when the show got picked up for series, but then they left to go back to Happy Days, and we were stuck with new writers who didn’t know us. So that was a problem. And then some of the people on the show had chemical issues, and that was a problem.”
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:22pm
Matt from New Orleans:

Well he rebounded with Charles in Charge so no real immediate negative effects
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:22pm
Franco Twinkie:

I worked with a guy who wrote songs for Happy Days.
  8:23pm
JakeGould:

Yeah, when Chachi became a fascist “in charge” that is when his career skyrocketed.

@FrancoTwinkie: Very cool!

Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:48pm
Matt from New Orleans:

It just seemed like the name was almost a reverse of tico and Latin music as well
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:49pm
Little Danny:

Oh man, never thought of it that way before... You might be on to something
  8:51pm
Choggie:

@MFNO
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:55pm
Matt from New Orleans:

My grandfather was a silent partner in a record label that mostly produced latin music in the Bronx but I only discovered long after he passed away and my grandmother had Alzheimer’s and my dad had no specifics. None of the records both paper or vinyl made it down to Florida when they moved. My dad wasn’t interested in the music so he never kept any. I’ve done lots of research but he’s not on any corporate records I could find in nyc archives. I suspect he was moving some cash that he didn’t want anyone to know about but again brick walls.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:55pm
Mr. Fine Wine:

Choggie, your check will be ready tomorrow afternoon.
  Swag For Life Member 8:55pm
Manana:

Been a got dog fine show.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:58pm
Little Danny:

Whoa, Matt from NOLA! That's amazing. What was the label?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:00pm
Dave the Spazz:

Mr. Finewine is killin' it tonight!
Avatar 🍷 Swag For Life Member 9:00pm
chresti:

What Manana said, thanks Mr. FW!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:00pm
Matt from New Orleans:

I can’t figure that out. I figure it somehow was tied into people my great grandfather did business with in Cuba before the revolution but if my dad has any knowledge of any of it, he ain’t talking. I found a second family of my great grandfather down in Cuba in the late 90s when I visited.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:02pm
Matt from New Orleans:

Great show thanks
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:12pm
coelacanth∅:

TY FW!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:35pm
Mr. Fine Wine:

Thanks, Dave the Spazz and everybody else! Matt from New Orleans, we gotta figure out what label!
