Favoriting Hinky Dinky Time with Uncle Michael: Playlist from July 19, 2019 Favoriting

Turning over the toy box and jamming together the gloriously mismatched musical Lincoln Logs, Legos and Tinker Toys from Tin Pan Alley pluggers, pickled egg tavern weepers, lockstep soul ensembles, skinny-tie power poppers, Eurotrash ravers, moontanned art school rockers, drunken soccer anthems and anything else that seems like a good idea at the time. There are no guilty pleasures.

Thanks Michael! I must relate this: Lu Lu who was/is the bass player in The Fastbacks and I worked on many TV commercials together. I had not seen her in a very long time so when The Fastbacks came to L.A. I was there. At the show was this person who was an insufferable punk rock snob, who was always very dismissive to me. After The Fastbacks played a kick ass set, Lu Lu rad up and hugged me! As Lu Lu and I were catching up, I saw the snob look at us with their mouth hanging slack. It was very sweet indeed!

Groove with You... Live Is the Great Lost Isley Brothers Album

In 1980, Ronald, Rudolph, O’Kelly, Ernie and Marvin Isley and Chris Jasper Decided to Follow in the Footsteps of The Commodores, Parliament, and Earth Wind & Fire and Record a Live Album

Rather Than Bring a Mobile Truck to a Concert Venue, However, The Isley Brothers Chose to Cut Groove with You...Live! at Bearsville Sound Studio in Woodstock, New York

The Result Was a Double Live Album with All the Fire of a Live Performance but with the Fidelity of a Studio Album
