Favoriting August 31, 2019: RIP Strabo (August 1998-August 24, 2019), aka Strabo Underfoot, Old Man Kitten (in his later years), Little Pain in the Ass (during his earlier years). Beloved and sorely missed.
This week we raise a bowl of sardine water to honor my good friend of the last 20 years. The only creature for whom Tamar exhibited more affection for (who can blame her?). May your eternity be filled with smoked fish and carrot cake.

aah sardine water . . . the sublime taste of that murky musty oily salty liquid with a few scales and bits of flesh bobbing about . . . a rare treat for a wee beggar of a critter . . . most importantly, it keeps him quiet for a few minutes

well - i had a friend who primarily drank tequila. named his dog tequila. many other references in his Life to tequila.

squirrel carcas is what we like :)

Mark R:

Weirdest thing that's ever happened to RICH while ON THE AIR. There are many qualifiers there.
  2:16am
rich:

weird in the sense that the turntables are usually reliable as far as playing at the speed that is chosen. if that fails then the show can go much faster or slower than intended.
  2:24am
Mark R:

I always thought it would be fun to have a turntable with completely variable speeds, not just the standard 33, 45, 78...what if you really COULD listen to a record at 41?
Avatar 2:25am

audacity?

Thx Rich! Sounds like Strabo had a pretty good life. Glad you guys all had the opportunity to spend so much time together. ‘Night all! RIP Strabo!
