It's Pup Grease! (Sweet looking pup!)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:19pm
KimSorise:

She loves to sit up under the curtain in Derrick’s studio when he is working. When I am working she keeps watch in the front window.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:21pm
doctorjazz:

Our pooches sit at the window non stop when my wife is out.

Doug Schulkind:

This is outstanding. A new to me. Thanks, Kim!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:29pm
KimSorise:

Thank you, Doug. I have played other tracks off of it - but this is my first time playing Mzwandile
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:31pm
Doug Schulkind:

This Shamek Farrah is also new to me. I have his earlier Strata-East, but not this. Thanks, Kim!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:34pm
KimSorise:

@doug This is also on Strata-East from 1977. Reissue just came out. It’s nice - different from First Impressions but still solid.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:36pm
Doug Schulkind:

Yep. I've been aware of this other Strata-East LP, but never had it in my clutches.

KimSorise:

Good evening, Gina! Welcome to the show! Excited to hear Big Planet Noise tonight at 9pm!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:09pm
KimSorise:

I think that is the perfect definition for Global Grease, CC! The world is a place we all need to slide in and out of - at our own risk at times. Safe travels.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:10pm
Gina Bacon:

Thank you, neighbor!! I'm digging this flute!

I can't ever get Bob to tell me what year he graduated high school???...hehehe
  8:16pm
CC:

I can't even find out when Bob Hope graduated high school???
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:25pm
KimSorise:

Haha! Sometimes I hit it @Little Danny

Does anyone remember the cartoon Ruff and Ready???... there was this alien from the planet Muni Mula... which was aluminum spelled backwards...etc... I forget the plot???
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:37pm
coelacanth∅:

Kim -toothless? she looks in a good way otherwise. is she elderly?
...and she looks a little like a weimaraner -a breed very dear to me... but more brown and a much bigger chest spot.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:40pm
coelacanth∅:

(she doesn't look elderly)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:42pm
KimSorise:

She is a pit with a bit of Weimaraner mixed in - it is more noticeable in her coloring.
Caycee J is a rescue we got earlier last year; she came from Memphis which has a huge dog fitting problem. Our girl had a rough start; she was chained and over breed - most likely due to her size.
She more than likely chewed on those chains and cracked all 8 of her front teeth. They were dead when we got her - this fall she got them all taken out. Thankfully the rest are in decent shape but feeding her anything is kind of funny and messy -

Doug Schulkind:

Brackeen isn't even trying to hide his Ornette stylings here. Playing with Don Cherry, Charlie Haden and Ed Blackwell must have been inspiring.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:45pm
Little Danny:

@Doug: I was sure I was hearing Ornette here
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:46pm
Doug Schulkind:

@Little Danny
Unless it is Ornette sneaking into the studio... The rest of the band is Ornette's working quartet.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:47pm
coelacanth∅:

damn, Kim...that's sad -and happy! i'm glad she found you.
and yeah i thought she was a bit stockier than a weimaraner too
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:48pm
Gina Bacon:

She's beautiful, and so lucky to have a nice life now!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:48pm
KimSorise:

She is about 5 maybe 6 - vet said she has had at least 5 litters. She is amazingly resilient.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:48pm
Little Danny:

@Doug: Yep. Sounds like his quartet circa '63.
  8:49pm
