Kicking off tonight’s show with a shout-out of massive thanks during these tough times: Sam Elwitt for lending me his Mackie mixer (without which, broadcasting from home would not be possible), Scott Williams for running the board tonight along with the other heroic WFMU Skeleton Crew Champs who show up at the station on the regular: Michele With One “L,” Joe McGasko, Matt Warwick, Ruth, Olivia, The Pidge, and of course our Fearless Leader, Station Manager Ken for steering us through the craziest times that anyone’s ever lived through.

BIG thanks to the anonymous WFMU donor who came up with thousands of dollars for equipment so the DJs could broadcast with no pants on from the safety and comfort of their own homes. And of course, thanks to the WFMU DJs who are the best radio people in the world, pants or no pants.

On a personal level, thanks to listeners Celeste and Diana for delivering groceries and supplies during the worst times and to all of the pals everywhere, on and off social media, who have checked in and lifted spirits immeasurably throughout all of this. I’m humbled and floored and humbled again, but not in that order. I'm also probably 99% over this virus.

Oh, and thanks to Ira the K for filling in for me last week and thanks to Bob Dylan for the best show I never did. Finally, eternal gratitude to the WFMU listeners who helped us out during the recent fundraising marathon and who continue to keep WFMU as a constant in their lives.
