"I listened yesterday. It's no reflection on you but I could'nt see where you were going or what you were going for. This early seventies thing did'nt get noticed the first time and you talk about friends of like Dealney and Bonnie who had records out like we're supposed to remember who they are. Then you play this long winded free jazz stuff that really grates on my nerves. And that noise without a beat and sounds like someones being pinched. Then you play a reggae song, I think you called it Dub, to what, be cool? You seem to really fetishize the whole folk thing too which is obnoxious to us who don't even care. I liked it when you played that punk song though. I like Joe Belock a lot." (Visit homepage.)

David, how goes? The liquor bank was having a special sale on Tomintoul 16, so I grabbed us a bottle. Stanley said he'd drop by for a dram, too.
I think NRus are whisky-soluble.

I've heard all sorts of music, sounds, and vibrations coming from WFMU over the years,
and i'm often puzzled when I hear a DJ say, "you wont hear (name of musician)..." for whatever reason.
I tune in because I want to hear everything and anything that might be at all interesting to someone.
I don't get it, but I'm willing to listen.
So, Dear John,
Embrace the freedom of free form.
Release your inner Pink Floyd
( you know you want to).

Fair enough.
This coming from a listener who once listened to 3 hours of Toto's "Africa" and various dubious covers of same.
Needless to say, I am fully invested.

And . . The word was made fresh. My conditioned habits of agreement have been destroyed!
I now embrace meaninglessness in a symbiotic movement of flesh and breath. My evolution through modalities of interpretation is as consistent as the Sun Star!
I gather knowledge through agnostic forces of awareness and I scatter seeds of thought in a performance mirroring that of a perennial forest.
Magnetized. Stratified. Plucked and blown.
Electricity, temperature and bone.
Echoes in the horizon. Faces on the trees. Sounds in the ground and colors in the planets.
My heart beats and my toes make points. Space is the place and action is the joint.

true
although, last week I watched Werner Herzog's "Nosferatu the Vampire" and like it as much as Mernau's 1922 film.
Then again Herzog's film was made 1979
