For the album, they used a Minimoog, an ARP Odyssey, an EMS Synthi AKS, a Farfisa Professional Piano and various devices of their own design, such as their electronic drums. / Germany’s Autobahn, or Bundesautobahn, specifically the 555, is known for its near-straight path and high speeds. Completed in 1932, the freeway connects Cologne and Bonn, and was the first of its kind. 7" single | Casablanca | 1977 | orig released as the B-side of "Can't We Just Sit Down (And Talk It Over" - only later was it switched to the A-side / Whereas most disco recordings had been backed by orchestras, Giorgio Moroder & Pete Belotte produced "I Feel Love" with a Moog Modular 3P synthesizer borrowed from the classical composer Eberhard Schoener. It was recorded on a 16-track tape recorder, with the various parts played on a sequencer. As the Moog went out of tune quickly, it had to be recorded in bursts of 20 or 30 seconds before being retuned. To create the hi-hat sound, they took white noise generated by the Moog and processed it with an envelope. As the Moog could not create a satisfactory kick drum sound, the kick was played on a drum kit by session drummer Keith Forsey. Aside from Summer's vocals, the kick drum is the only element of the song not played by a machine. Moroder composed the backing track and bassline before the melody. He introduced variety by altering the key at regular intervals and layering Summer's vocals. / The track was co-written by Moroder (music) & Belotte (lyrics). | 0:06:51 (Pop-up) |

7" single | Paradox | 1984 | AKA Peter Murphy & Mich Karn / Although he did not drive (Dali's wife Gala or his chauffeur Artur Caminada drove for him), Salvador Dalí felt a great fascination for cars. They appear in many of his works such as Bather (1924), Imperial Monument to the Woman-Child (1929), Paranoiac-Critical Solitude (1935), Debris of an Automobile Giving Birth to a Blind Horse Biting a Telephone (1938) or Cars dressed (1941). In the 1970s, the Japanese carmaker Datsun Motor Company commissioned 4 contemporary artists to publicize their models in the US market, one of the chosen painters was Salvador Dalí who created a drawing with ink, watercolor, and collage that was reproduced in the press of the time. Currently, this painting can be seen at the Salvador Dalí Museum of St. Petersburg, Florida (on loan by its owner Nissan North America Inc.). As part of the payment, Dalí received a Datsun 180B Wagon, an extremely rare car in those years in Spain, and which is currently exhibited in the courtyard of Púbol Castle. This vehicle was used by the service to go to make orders and remained for many years closed in a barn until the Fundació Gala i Salvador Dalí bought it and restored it. Also, an advertisement for television was filmed, inspired by the Persistence of Memory picture, in which a Datsun appears inside the painting with a Dalí as a passenger, while a voice-over explains the properties of the vehicle combined with the painter's comments.
