	5:31pm dale: been enjoying the show whilst sanding and painting. i know the incredible string band is more out there, but any love for amazing blondel scott? 'england' is kind of a masterpiece.

	5:40pm dale: two rooms in my house just became junk room catch alls when i bout the place 28 years ago. the room i'm doing now is the front parlor, it had two layers of wallpaper on it and the plaster was a mess. the ceiling was badly peeling. i used a porter cable drywall pole sander with 40 grit sanding screen on the ceiling then skim coated it and went over it with 220 after that. i also had to take the furnace flue pipe out of the hearth where they conveniently chopped a hole in it to run the coal furnace pipe to the roof. i mortared new cement board over that and got veneer brick to pretty it up. it's a time dump, but it's coming out nicely. janky unsquare unlevel farmhouse

	5:52pm dale: my house is 1848 and the second floor was reconfigured in the victorian era so i have horsehair plaster. have some massive beams running though the ceiling that have mortises in them from the barn they repurposed them from. it's been a trip. i have much repsect for guys who can plaster without dumping half of it on the floor.
