With billows and blasts from choirs and orchesters
Buskers and talkers
Big bands and squawkers,
the Stork Club has retained its qualities of decaying elegance and dwindling significance since the late 1950s.

December 27, 2020: Czech It
It's the make-up birthday party for Czech bassist Miroslav Vitous's 83rd birthday. A healthy protion of today's show will be devoted to his colorful array of music over the decades. He's an alum of Miles Davis' mid-60's lineup, a Weather Report co-founder, and has appeared with loads of other great ones. Happy birthday (3 weeks ago to the day), Miro!
