I wonder if my favorite Afghani place is still in the E Village. My fave Burmese place disappeared, but their sister restaurant in the Upper Eastside was still there the last I checked... (plenty of Serbian places around in Queens, and I just had Haitian food yesterday, rarely got to have Filipino food in NYC, as most of it has meat, and my partner there is a veggie). (I listen w/ my stomach).
