Celebrating Marcos Valle's 80 years and his new US tour where he will play Philadelphia on October 7th and Brooklyn on October 8th along with many other cities. I had the chance to chat with Valle who is one of the most important and popular performers in the history of Brazilian Music without a doubt. Marcos Valle redefined the frontiers of Brazil's most influential export from the early days of the bossa nova craze well into the fusion-soaked sound of '80s MPB and then into the 21st century.
