"I listened yesterday. It's no reflection on you but I could'nt see where you were going or what you were going for. This early seventies thing did'nt get noticed the first time and you talk about friends of like Dealney and Bonnie who had records out like we're supposed to remember who they are. Then you play this long winded free jazz stuff that really grates on my nerves. And that noise without a beat and sounds like someones being pinched. Then you play a reggae song, I think you called it Dub, to what, be cool? You seem to really fetishize the whole folk thing too which is obnoxious to us who don't even care. I liked it when you played that punk song though. I like Joe Belock a lot." (Visit homepage.)

Whole point of the vax is to sitmualte the immune system - so don't take anti-inflammatories *before* the shot @ all - & hold off long as possible afterwords seems good sense. I held off analgesics til I got tired of not sleeping from discomfort.
Hell have a shot of bourbon before you go ! Wish I did...
Made sure I had juices & vitamin waters - protein bar to feed immune cells
...glad to get outta there after symptoms vigil... walking t circulate it seemed good - then down for the low energy & chills...

I will only mention the name of the artist (Ismail Bahri) whose latest (solo show) exhibition I visited, and it left me puzzled. Never knowing if there is really something to it, and I get a feeling very close to anger, let's just say it's frustration because of the very rare occasions I get to go inside the art spaces and dimensions, which means that I am missing much of the context for the conversation surrounding it , or if really there is not much to it because of the poverty (in all senses of the term) of the local (cultural and intellectual) scene. Mind you this very exhibition is proof that there are *always* people, there is always something that has potential .. but .. a lot I fail to grasp (and I always contrast this with music where I was able to discover musicians and pieces and places like wfmu where I came to appreciate -and almost prefer sometimes- the abstract , like improvised jazz. A very puzzling subject, I think about A LOT, but almost never get to talk about with other people
