How do, Julie and all! Listened to the goth special in two parts because I am sadly not a night creature anymore, and dug both immensely!

You were up against a tougher slot -- we were meeting one of my son's GF for the first time Sunday so Saturday was wife-driven making-the-house-look-perfect day. I was ready for bed by 9:00 PM

Hi. Haven't finished listening to your International Goth Day special, and here you go again.

I see you are covering for Irene and Kenzo on June 14th. After Kenzo it is the stream until 7PM, you could do 7 hours. LoL like a full work day...

You know how the song goes, Julie: If you can't be with the one you love, love the one you're with. Especially applies when you are by yourself
Avatar 🦇 Swag For Life Member 3:11pm

@ngh oh man, I am a horrible person with less than 6 hours. I'd be homicidal on 3 hours sleep.
Avatar 🦇 3:11pm

I feel like my show is weird today but then I think that quite often
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:12pm
David (in London):

I'm still making my way through the Saturgoth archive in chunks, too.

Phillippe - TBH it's unlikely for this year, on account of work commitments which mean two or three weeks off in one go is probably not going to fly. But 2022 for sure I reckon.
Avatar 🦇 Swag For Life Member 3:14pm
Ken From Hyde Park:

It was a gray Countryman Mini. The specialty plate was the one with roses. Goth level undetermined.

KFHP Did the roses have thorns and barbed wire? Then goth could be confirmed

Hi Julie, Nighthawks. That Sexy Dex was fonky. Sounded like something that would get heavy airplay on the French station Radio Nova which I used to listen to a lot. (Am recommending 'fonky' as correct spelling for heavily Prince-indebted jamz.)

@Phillippe @4:14 That's EXACTLY what I've been thinking. 2020 was a flaming trainwreck. Been striking up conversation with every person I meet when I venture out, and the general consensus seems to be that we're all starting over and making changes to be happier. Which will result in a more caring and empathetic world. Hard to not be excited about that!

It may come as a surprise that this road is the deadliest road in New York. However, this two-lane roadway is one of the most overcrowded highways in the state. Part of the reason why Taconic State Parkway is so dangerous is because of all its twists and turns.

...Eclipse is along the ♊︎Gemini-♐︎Sagittarius Axis - with the Fulll Moon in ♐︎Sag

Eclipses are long complex cycles of the ⦿Sun & ☽Moon - our most fundamental indicators here on Earth & in our Societies - meeting @ a crossroads. Their symbolism is regarded as a Dragon devouring the Lights for a time. @ a Full Moon things usually come to Fullness, & @ a New Moon you might plant new intentions for a Lunar Cycle. But @ an Eclipse - they say - just don't mess with the Dragon !! Instead - practice Cleansing rituals & techniques - & just see what comes to light from the Unconscious or from Outside of Time...

Now the show's soon over, it's the perfect time for me and my usual rant "4ad records were soooo cheap in London's second hand record stores early 00s, why didn't I buy them all"

HyperDose:

Thanks Julie, loved the shoegazy numbers :D
Hope the chaos dies down, listener James!

What a glum, achingly beautiful time. My 1st Saturn Return (end of my 20s) - & a whole Saturn cycle ago... Ah me !

@Rev Rabbit: If you ever saw him drunk at a show like me and my friends did, we almost walked out, but we drove 2.5 hours for the show, so we endured.

Thanks so much Julie, it made me so happy to hear there would be a second installment of a 4ad-theme bonus hour, and I was not disappointed. Good night, see you all next week!

I didn't clearly catch it myself, but seems she's not in her present time slot. I must review the archive. It was her first mic break, just a few songs in.

Catching up with Mona's situation. She announced it at the end (not beginning). She was let go from her day job so she will be DJing weddings on Saturday nights. We'll see if she lands a Woof Moo time slot. Apologies for dropping info without having the facts straight. 🖤
