The Victorian Era one-just ok, good for an airplane trip Cryptonomicon- almost a perfect book The Baroque Cycle-compelling to read, but not much of a pay-off. I guess good for the character development. Easy to confuse which character is which. Later ones-couldn't finish. Kinda strange and not relatable. Something about a thousand year sect of technical savant monks that made not much sense. Doing CAD to this pretty music!

A friend of mine had a fire in his building a while back. The fire itself was nowhere near his unit, but the the smoke damage alone required a closure of months.
