Thanks, @WR. No, I didn't know about him. Maybe the class I took in book history back in the '80s helps me. It involved a bit of palaeography.

@ David: The second cassette/part of this comp, which we are hearing now, is housed in its own nearly identical faux-leather sleeve (which, sadly, I am missing).

Tony, though this comp might have some "famous" artists, for me it is all new to me. For example, though I am familiar with Legendary Pink Dots / Edward Ka-Spel and Nurse With Wound, I don't know them well enough for their tracks to pop out to me when I hear them. All is good.
