Great to hear Cyrille's voice. I watched on uboob a couple years ago a documentary about Mal Waldron. Looking to see if I can find it now. Cyrille was interviewed extensively relative to his working with and admiring Waldron. Spoke of when he first came to NYC.

Paul Bley has a funny anecdote about Cyrille in his memoir (which I can't find right now). Bley tried to get Andrew to play a song in time rather than free and just couldn't get him to do it. He never argued with Bley, just played his usual way no matter what Bley said.
(I apologize if the anecdote is really about someone else. The chances of that are about 50-50.)
