Masters in Biology, looking to going for a PHD in neurobiology. She's working in a lab as well, studying whether magnetically stimulating the centers of the brain for empathy make you better at giving or receiving directions (thanks to college student volunteers who'll take $50 to be subjects. Cool outdoor festival NYC yest, last 2 acts really great. Charles McPherson with Terrell Stafford (straignt bebop), And the Something Else! band,Vincent Herring, James Carter, Randy Brecker, guitarist Paul Bollenback, pianist David Kikoski, bassist Essiet Essiet, and the drummer Johnathan Blake. I really dug this band-a hard bop/soul-funk jazz band, who really swung! (hadn't heard James Carter in a long time, he tore it up. Brecker was also terriffic, as were the rest of the band-worth catching if they're around). Saw Irene Trudel and Peter there!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:48pm

I listened to Irene last week - was it the Charlie Parker fest? I love Charles McPherson.
