Soul standing
Who pulls skeins of wool
White and black colors
Have pity on me
Soul standing
Who crosses the street
When the light is red
Have pity on yourself
Standing soul
Who accepts the idea
To go to war
Have pity on yourself
Standing soul
Who spends all his time
To cry his pains
Have pity on others
Standing soul
Who with his two big hands
Raise the powers
Have pity on us
Standing soul
Who creates the soul of a child
Without support rod
Have pity on him O
Standing soul
Who crosses time
Without suffering from misery
Have pity on yourself
Soul standing
Who gives up resigned
Every day at the factory
Have pity on yourself
Standing soul
Who lies in my bed
Without defining my dimensions
Have pity on yourself
Standing soul
Who plays on my fear
Like a cat's claws
Have pity on me
Standing soul
Who won't breathe
The confession of my last breath
Have faith in life

Take me in your arms again
Tell me
If you still want
From me
In the backlight
For what
For so long
We love each other we love each other

We refuse time
Who passes
Fresh air currents
From age
Our bodies trembled
Please
And our emotions
In hatching
In hatching

From this blaze was born
The child
Really wanted

"Jovanovic" (from "Jovan" versus "Ivan" or "Jan") tends towards the Serbian or Macedonian. "Arsenije" is probably a saint's name ("Arsenius"?), could be Armenian, but the spelling like that is common in Serbian and the former Yugoslavia.

Also: HI, tom tom! :)

I don't view human eyes as 'large', proportionally. I think they probably evolved to this size in order to show the widest peripheral vision, while being secured inside the skull under the brow to protect them.

Lizard is supposedly their "worst" or "most challenging" album. Its a really really deep cut for KC. Interesting. Nice use of Mellotron. Salton sea sounds like hell on earth.

Dude, you MUST run out and get Discipline, its 80's flavored prog of the highest order. It is OF the 80's but not LIKE the 80's. It is the pinnacle of the 80's Crimson Albums. Also, you need In the Court of the Crimson King at some point. But if you don't have Discipline you are really really really REALLY missing out on something.

understood & will pursue. The '80s were a dangerous time for that scene, I tread very carefully. I prefer my prog with fuzz, poverty, and greasy sideburns vs. glossy production & cocaine. But there are some gems in there, true..

Put another way: They use 80's TECH without sounding like The Human League, Depeche Mode, New Order or Men Without Hats. It is utterly original music but there is a flavor of Talking Heads (think Remain In Light), Peter Gabriel (earlier albums before SO), and other things like THAT instead. THAT 80's , NOT Madonna, Lauper, Huey Lewis 80's. Make sense? Anybody ELSE care to weigh in on Discipline?
