  3:04pm On the Yazoo:

  3:45pm Bucky:

oh Terre... it's my birthday today and it's been pretty awful so far, but it's all been okay since I tuned in near the top of the hour to find "Jailbreak" playing. Thank you so much, keep it up.
  3:46pm other david:

Listening in Ireland Terre - you're spoiling us!

My dad went down to the docks in Dublin in the 1960's to see off The Creatures as they went to the UK to try and make it.

Also saw Skid Row (with Phil Lynott) and early incarnations of Thin Lizzy in Dublin's "The Go-Go".
  3:51pm Antwan:

Took me an embarrassingly long time to realise why this is exclusively Irish bands...
  3:53pm other david:

(that was of course an Irish 60's band called Skid Row, which Phil Lynott was kicked out of by Brush Shiels... and the rest as they say, is history!)
  3:53pm Listener Jumpy from Brooklyn:

Kim Fowley autographed by copy of "Gloria's Dream."
  3:54pm David Shortell:

Is that the same Creatures of whom a member is interviewed in "Charlie is My Darling", the documentary of the Rolling Stones 1965 tour of Eire?
  3:54pm erika:

greeeeat show, keep it up please!!
  3:58pm todd_elkin:

I had the "get down" 45 when I was 12 (aka when it came out)
  3:59pm other david:

@David Shortell - I've never actually watched that, but it's bound to be!
  4:00pm Stu:

David - I believe it is the same band.
Avatar 4:02pm DJ Terre:

Thx for the kind words! Sucha gorgeous day out here in JC, NJ! Feel free to make IRISH rock suggestions!
  4:04pm Juke Joint Jonny:

  4:06pm rookie dj:

  4:06pm other david:

I second the Sultans of Ping F.C. suggestion!

  4:07pm Listener Jumpy from Brooklyn:

And don't forget the other Skid Row with the late Gary Moore.
  4:12pm jp:

  4:14pm Jeremy:

That Exile in the Kingdom track was great! Never heard of 'em b4 Thanks DJ
Terre T!
  4:17pm Ignore Function:

Not Irish, but the band Green would be appropriate.
  4:18pm David Shortell:

I looked forward to seeing So Cow kick off his 2010 U.S. tour at Asbury Lanes, but I recall a blizzard forced the show's cancelation.
  4:22pm Skirkie:

Could be wearing anything... or nothing.
  4:25pm Listener Jumpy from Brooklyn:

Skid Row was not an early incarnation of Thin Lizzy.
  4:27pm other david:

Yep it wasnt, Lynott was just a member and Brush Shiels kicked him out and Phil then formed Thin Lizzy!
  4:34pm olivier:

tonight, I learn how to say "I'm drunk" in scottish.smart, isn't it? . sorry I'm french. happy St Patrick!
  4:38pm chad from oregon:

Great show today! Happy St Patricks Day Terre and all!
  4:44pm other david:

  4:45pm olivier:

  4:49pm efd:

Suburban St. Paddy's update: Just driving home from running an errand at Lowe's, and there was a bit of a traffic jam because police were checking on a guy who apparently passed out (or fell asleep) in his pick-up truck as a stop light.

Great show Terre, and hey Pauly B.!
  4:51pm Listener Jumpy from Brooklyn:

Oh, so it was sort of like Jeff Connolly joining DMZ, taking over and then forming Lyres with the same guys.
  4:56pm Nate the K:

Hey guys and gals. Great show.
  4:58pm PL:

Hmm, those mellotrons remind me... How about spinning Strawbs' Grave New World? Inspired by the Troubles, I believe.
  4:59pm Nate the K:

I often feel my life suffers from a dearth of Hawkwind. I needed this.
  5:00pm PL:

A Hawkwind is for life, not just for Stonehenge.
  5:01pm Pick Up Truck Driver:

Shorry, occifer, I wuzh lishnin ta da Irish moozhick on da raddio.

  5:29pm Little Bunny (jodi):
