  4:11pm
BSI:

Scott: re: this CCR thing: you managed to pull out one of those "bands" I've never given a damn about, ever (based on very little knowledge), and pick a seriously appealing tune. Cheers.
  4:12pm
Clue Stafford:

Think there was some experimental song on the CCR LP, Pendulum.
  4:12pm
paula pc:

I gotta make an obligatory comment I made when Mike Lupica played this song -- I think that jam is responsible for most 90s grunge jams, via Nirvana and others...
  4:13pm
Sea of Attle:

Layne is the only thing that mattered about grunge.

  4:29pm
Pete G.:

This is my favorite tractorized number yet!
  4:31pm
paul:

the best thing is that wasn't even traktor, it was just the 7". well and a reverb unit.
  4:33pm
Dead Corporate Eyes:

Scott's doing this on the fly? My hat is off to you, sir.
  4:33pm
Looms:

Poor Elvis :(
  4:37pm
BSI:

@insectfactory: duly noted! I freely admit my crushing ignorance! I think the absence of much singing also helped that one
  4:37pm

  5:14pm
pierre:

@BSI and @Scott : As you two are well aware of the mysteries of beer drinking. Which one (or series of ones) would you advice for a wanabe beer snob ?
  5:17pm
BSI:

Everybody is their own expert, methinks. A lot of folks here in the states are big on IPAs these days but it's not my thing. I'm more about stouts, brown ales, & English-style bitter...
  5:18pm
BSI:

but then, I'm a strange guy.
  5:21pm
pierre:

i remember in glasgow a man brewing his own beer, it was one of the best i've had.
In Paris there's a place called the beer academy, and they had so many, i took the one that had the strangest name. Which turned out to be a not-so-wise choice.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:21pm
Scott:

I hate IPAs too and the extreme hops craze that won't die. I'm seasonal: dig nut browns, dubbels and that complicated sour yeasty belgian stuff in the fall & winter; saisons in spring & summer. homebrew always
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:22pm
Scott:

but never walk away from someone so you can go jot notes in your beer-dickwad journal!
  5:23pm
pierre:

"going jot notes" ? what does that mean ?
  5:23pm
northguineahills:

Glad to know I'm not the only one crazy about IPAs.
  5:24pm
BSI:

When traveling, I always try to sample the local, whatever the style. It's only backfired on me once. And that was one helluva backfire.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:24pm
Scott:

pierre, it means don't go to parties with beer snobs!
  5:25pm
BSI:

I'm more of a beer SLOB, probably?
  5:27pm
pierre:

well, i'm trying to learn and discover stuff to eat and drink all the time, and i love beer, so i guess beer snob is not so bad, i mean it surely makes me discover new drinks. But i get it, i'll party with my tastes of whisky.

… and Picon with BSI.
