The program formerly known as Dinner at Andy's, The Fuzzy Glove Hour, Whores, and The Happiness Hut. Ken and Andy, also known as The Enema Boys, further lower WFMU's already abysmal standards on a weekly basis. Stunt radio which subjects the radio audience to concepts and topics which mature adults should not have to endure. Find the fatal flaw. (Visit homepage.)

In case Andy ever looks at the comments: Happy New Year, Kendy! http://tinyurl.com/b3woeuh
  6:02pm
G:

Does he have any six-toed cats down there with him?
  6:02pm
Matt from Springfield:

Those other 6 Hidden Families will not be too pleased.
Hi kat! G! And all Delayers delayed!
  6:03pm
kat330:

Hello, hello, hello!
  6:03pm
Matt from Springfield:

Wow, "Good Bad & Ugly"--that was the theme when I started listening. April '09 was in fact the month I began listening to WFMU, but not sure if I caught this specific 7SD.
  6:04pm
kat330:

Now Philo doesn't have to bust his butt getting home by 6:00 -- but hopefully he'll be here soon. :)
  6:04pm
Matt from Springfield:

I like the creepy, slowed and low Andy filter.
"You Make Loving Fun"!
  6:05pm
Matt from Springfield:

@kat: Menu time! TilApiCOs tonight?
  6:05pm
green mountain man mark:

so goood!
  6:06pm
Ken:

Hey Matt and Kat and G and Green Mountain Mark, send me an email at ken at wfmu dot org - i got a special favor to ask of you,
  6:07pm
hamburger:

This is a good un
  6:07pm
Caryn:

This is a delight, even if a rerun.
  6:08pm
kat330:

@Matt: [just interrupted by a call from Philo] Nope. Stuffed peppers instead.
  6:08pm
Matt from Springfield:

Uh oh, the Kenpossible Missions Force is calling.
  6:08pm
kat330:

@Ken: OK, will do!
  6:09pm
Matt from Springfield:

Oh I remember hearing about this "harass the toll booth attendant" show!
  6:11pm
green mountain man mark:

If I can be ranked in the winged monkey Army, or Air Force, whatever, what would I be.
  6:12pm
cklequ:

Is the scoring swag from the art gallery clip on this one?
  6:12pm
Fredericks:

As do I, Matt. Maybe, we can get the "Riot Act" skit. I heard about that one. too.
  6:12pm
hamburger:

I seem to think a railroad bill coming up / fingers crossed
  6:14pm
kat330:

Inpantz did he say? ;)
  6:15pm
Matt from Springfield:

Wasn't it another German name, like Inmeipantz? ;)
  6:16pm
kat330:

Oh, I remember this Father's Day show.
  6:16pm
kat330:

@Matt: That was an in-joke to *you* btw, from your sketch.
  6:17pm
Matt from Springfield:

Was this from the "sayings we could do without" show? I remember an Encore broadcast of that.
  6:18pm
kat330:

@Ken: email sent at 6:09. You received yet?
  6:18pm
Matt from Springfield:

@kat: I figured, the only place I've seen that spelling; I thought that was in ref to the "party in my pants" line from the caller. Full circle :)
  6:19pm
kat330:

It was "Happi Inpantz" to be exact. :)
  6:21pm
Matt from Springfield:

@Ken: Likewise, sent an email at 6:12.
  6:24pm
kat330:

Is this email send another ECL bit?? ;)
  6:25pm
Matt from Springfield:

"Hold yourself back"? Andy IS "The Man"!! He's also the completely anti-Man. It's confusing, but it works.
  6:26pm
Matt from Springfield:

@kat: Well it's not an attempt to compile an Orwellian database of emails, since I already have that typed in on every comment field anyway!
  6:27pm
kat330:

Have you looked everywhere? Hahahahaha!
  6:28pm
Caryn:

Oh lord... that was so awkward and hilarious!
Avatar 6:29pm
OH NO!:

I can't believe I missed the beginning. -amEdeo.
  6:30pm
Matt from Springfield:

What?

Oh, yeah.
  6:30pm
kat330:

Philo has a hard time with any social awkwardness moments -- TV / radio / real life -- so maybe good he missed that. And I've not heard this Tom Jones clip either, I don't think.
  6:30pm
Matt from Springfield:

Insane "Proud Mary" explosion!!! W00t!
  6:31pm
hamburger:

ou I love this nick name bit :D
  6:31pm
Lizardner Dave:

You guys should update Dylan's obituary. That show is at least 10 years old, right?
  6:31pm
kat330:

Hello, amEdeo!
  6:31pm
Caryn:

@kat: me too (hmm... maybe it's a Finnish thing?), but luckily that was quite brief.
  6:31pm
cklequ:

This nickname bit is hilarious.....
  6:33pm
kat330:

Seriously, Caryn, I think it might be cultural. His face gets red and contorted -- we're talking fictional plots -- as if he's eaten something sour. :)
  6:33pm
Matt from Springfield:

They said the Dylan reel is updated every couple years. As long as his "Christmas Album" is represented on it, I think I'm cool with it.
  6:39pm
Matt from Springfield:

CHEW THE GUM, until people pledge you to stop!!!
  6:40pm
kat330:

Mollusk this is!
  6:40pm
Caryn:

@kat: yeah, I can remember being in movies and having to cover my eyes and ears during comedies because the a scene based on a social embarrassment came up. Once, I actually cried out loud and groaned about it, and then realised "oh crap, I just did that out loud in the cinema". It's an immediate response.
  6:41pm
kat330:

But where's Andy's "Go to hell!"
  6:42pm
kat330:

@Caryn: Is it something taught in school over there?
  6:42pm
Matt from Springfield:

@Caryn,kat: Certain things, even in fiction, trigger anxiety responses in me. More when I was a young child, but some specific things still make me uncomfortable.
Avatar 6:43pm
amEdeo:

I was really confused before, but now I understand.
This is a rerun of the remix show.
  6:43pm
keving:

Something I'd like to hear again or track down in the archives was an episode from maybe ten years ago where Ken and Andy made a series of out-going calls to random people, during which Andy would eventually try to convince the other person that they should write their local representative to stop Ken Freedman.
  6:44pm
Matt from Springfield:

"Cause, to be perfectly honest, I actually don't get around that much."
  6:44pm
Caryn:

@kat: nope, but it is a perpetual topic of conversation with the Finnish school system that students are afraid to answer unless they are 100% sure they are correct. Foreign teachers find it very odd. I think that may be linked to the same attempt to avoid social embarrassment.
  6:45pm
Matt from Springfield:

Funerals would work: "I gotta find a new place where the kids are hip"...
  6:45pm
Matt from Springfield:

"Winterlong" would be GREAT!
And yes, Andy! Studio version! "Everybody Knows This Is Nowhere".
Avatar 6:46pm
amEdeo:

TRUE STORY: I once was listening to an archive of the prerecorded christmas present show from last year on my phone, WHEN ALL OF A SUDDEN the app began looping a forty-five second clip of the show over and over again. In the clip they were Ken and Andy were discussing the time delay built into the episode. So many layers of time distortion.
  6:46pm
Matt from Springfield:

@Caryn: Every culture is probably different, but that's a kind of hesitancy I associated with Japanese culture.
  6:47pm
Matt from Springfield:

"Grandma Chapel 24"???
  6:48pm
Matt from Springfield:

That is awesome, amEdeo! There are NO coincidences! Sometimes a stream error occurs at a very opportune time for me as well!
  6:48pm
Ken:

Wow even I am confused by tonight's show. That's not a good sign.
  6:49pm
kat330:

The Mongolian hordes must have done a real number humiliating your tribes! :)
  6:49pm
Caryn:

@Matt: no wonder the Japanese love Finland. Fun fact: the only foreign member of the Japanese parliament is a Finn. (Or was. He may have retired already.)
  6:50pm
kat330:

[really behind now -- Philo has arrived and we are detained in kitchen]

@Ken: AGHHRHHRHRHHhh. Next week's show? Wait-- was that part of a clip or wait AGHHRHHRHRHHhh. Next week's show? were you announcing that in 2009? Or wait. AGHHRHHRHRHHhh. Next week's show? It feels like someone is blowing bubbles in my skull.
  6:53pm
Matt from Springfield:

Ken: It's a hodge-podge, unraveling before our ears!

@Caryn: That's also awesome--was unaware Japan even had any non-Japanese parliamentarians. I guess they like Finland; even though, it's "so far from Japan"... :)
  6:55pm
keving:

"I do like to be preferred." I actually really liked that line.
  6:56pm
Caryn:

@Matt: Yeah, the similarities in syllable sounds, design, etc. help. As does the Japanese love of the Moomins and Finnish bands. The book and Japanese-Finnish film Kamome shokudō started a big Finland boom in Japan, too.

Thank, Ken! Have a good night all! [Philo says goodbye, too -- his hands and mouth are occupied in eating]
  7:00pm
Caryn:

This has been an utterly confusing show, but with plenty of highlights. Nice!
  7:00pm
Philo Gristle:

Hello! Thanks! Bye!

Good night! Have a good night! Have a good thing!
  7:02pm
Matt from Springfield:

Holadios, Philo!
I think this show would be *all* highlight, with not a word or letter of explanation in between!

Good night everyone! Happy 2013!
