@Whooda: Soooooo... I'm just curious if you've had any personal experience with those medications :)
Avatar 4:49pm
Whooda:

I've had indirect experience with those drugs from both inside and outside of health facilities. When I volunteered myself to the psyche ward in 2011 the nurse offered me Seroquel and I refused. The other patients were saying, 'Take it man!" or "Can I have it if you don't want it?" But, of course, I thought it was some nefarious trick by the hospital to trap me in there forever. Haha. The next day, after I learned what it was I asked the nurse if I could have it and she said, "No". :(

I saw a sign for a store on the highway that just sells "E-Cigs and E-Liqs" - do they sell electronic liquor now? I think I missed that blog post.
  5:03pm
P-90:

@whoo: not unusual, lots of patients try that class of drugs (Risperdal, etc.) and find the sedating effects overwhelming. Best to avoid them anyway, they 're very harsh lil pills
Avatar 5:06pm
Whooda:

No kidding. I need NO help sleeping. I've been averaging 18 hours of sleep per day EVERYDAY (without sedative drugs) for the past several months. Not depressed exactly, just sleepy.

E-Liq--alcohol inhalers!! Complete with flavor inserts!!
Avatar 🧩 Swag For Life Member 5:09pm
Matt from Springfield:

@Whooda: Hmm, is that the result of another med? Alcohol interacting with another med? Are you on any vitamin supplements (or do you think you should be)?
Avatar 5:09pm
Whooda:

@Matt does that mean that AA would then have to change their name to EAA?
  5:11pm
P-90:

@Whooski: 18 hrs.? But you're listening and commenting for about 16 hrs/day, 18 + 16 = about 34, how do Whooda squeeze all that into a 24 day!?
Avatar 5:11pm
steve:

alcohol inhalers, genius - i can't be the only one who gets a contact high just from smelling booze
Avatar 5:11pm
Whooda:

No, not drinking or smoking just sleepy. Yes on the vitamins and yes on health service support. Just sleepy, as form of meditation I suppose.
Avatar 🧩 Swag For Life Member 5:15pm
Matt from Springfield:

@Whooda: Well, meditation is very good for the mind and spirit. If being in a "blank" meditative state is doing well for you, I would say, keep it up. Now if you don't want to be in that state for most of the day, or feel it's taking over your life, obviously see a doctor and ask what you can do to change that.
Avatar 5:15pm
Whooda:

@P-90 this comment board, while cooking, is about the totality of my activity at the present time. I can sleep for 20 hours, get up have a cup of coffeee, a shower, a meal and go right back to sleep for many hours more, only getting up to pee. Don't ask me how or why. I don't get the 18 hours in one solid block of time. The past two weeks have been averaging closer to 12-15 hours / day sleep.
  5:15pm
P-90:

@ Steve, Matt, etc. I 'm gonna think long and hard on this E-liquor thing. There's gotta be a way...

"Hello, EAA. I'm Matt, and I had my last drink...right now. I follow the vapor everywhere..."

Whooda:

@Matt in 1990 I reached a state of Nirvana through transcendental meditation, about 20 minutes per day practice. That is the period I quit smoking cigarettes too and had my critical success as an artist. Very positive thing to do. This sleeping isn't proper meditation but is beneficial.

Sounds like you were in a very high risk environment for Lyme's, w/high density of cases all around. Plus, if you feel strongly that the sleepiness is not a product of depression, you might have Lyme's, it's a difficult diagnosis that slips by multiple tests in some cases.

How 'bout that Russian Police Choir, huh? Helluva thing...
