Favoriting Hinky Dinky Time with Uncle Michael: Playlist from February 21, 2014 Favoriting

Uncle Michael's avatar View Uncle Michael's profile Favoriting

Turning over the toy box and jamming together the gloriously mismatched musical Lincoln Logs, Legos and Tinker Toys from Tin Pan Alley pluggers, pickled egg tavern weepers, lockstep soul ensembles, skinny-tie power poppers, Eurotrash ravers, moontanned art school rockers, drunken soccer anthems and anything else that seems like a good idea at the time. There are no guilty pleasures.

Joe Meek was a visionary...a paranoid, tone-deaf, homicidal visionary.

Brian in UK:

I did not realise until reading listeners' comments and hearing DJs sets how much UK music was loved over your way. Perhaps it is only in the realm of FMU listeners. Hope not.
Good luck next week. You'll love it. We love you.

Talking about collectible vinyl...I've had a stereo copy of the album 'What Now My Love' by Mitch Ryder for years and years and had never come across it anywhere...last summer I found another copy at a garage sale...not quite in good as condition as my original but that really blew my mind, anyway!!!...BTW...never sell and decent vinyl on Ebay unless you state 'No Returns'...people like to make a ne copy off the analog stuf and then return it saying it was not as described???...:)O(:..
