Hello. To DJ Blumin: interesting sounds. Do the wonders of upstate New York reach Albany? Just moved here and haven't found them yet here.

Try taking a weekend drive through the Adirondacks, Faraday.

Hi Daniel, It's nice nice to ear about your trip. Simple pleasures? Are there any simple (emph. ) pleasures?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:23pm
Daniel Blumin:

Faraday - thanks and yes the natural wonders abound! Not as familiar with the capital city itself though... Thanks, Ike! On it! Stream too? Thanks - will let the authorities know.
Avatar 10:23pm
Īke:

Still no trouble with the webstream. Sounds good. @BB have you tried turning it off and back on again? Har har.
Avatar 10:25pm
Jeff:

Hey, guys. The stream's working fine for me in Jersey City (which isn't a short hop, it's a round trip from JC to Northern Virginia and back), and I haven't had any alarms pop based on the state of the stream as seen by our monitoring server...
Avatar 10:25pm
Bronwyn Bishop:

That worked Ike, you're a genius...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:26pm
Daniel Blumin:

fmoowooman, they were simple and lovely! Thanks, Jeff and co - stream seems to be ok! Still no 91.1 FM though...
  10:26pm

@Īke: Turning things on and off again always works. That and sticking paperclips in things.

As for 91.1, that's a job for the elite team: Ken or Liz.
Avatar 10:27pm
Ĩkє:

That's the answer 99% of the time. Maybe I should apply for some low-level IT jobs. Does anybody have a fake college where I can say I got a perfunctory IT degree?

Yah - Ken's on it, Jeff.
  10:29pm
JakeGould:

@Ĩkє: Maybe you can score a gig at one of the numerous storefront PC places that dot this part of Brooklyn?
  10:31pm
Station Manager Ken:

Multiple problems up at the transmitter site. Engineer Peter is on his way there now. I tried to turn on the Plan C surf music but I don't know if I was successful.

Ike, I can provide you with a certificate from the "College of Office Technology"--a real place that used to exist in Chicago--I always wondered what they taught, like, if they had a course on faxing or something...
