Good evening. First time listener.

Can you see Floyds Knobs from where you're sitting?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:08pm
KimSorise:

Welcome Brian! If I drive about 5 minutes from the house - yes, I can see Floyd Knobs.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:10pm
Doug Schulkind:

Better than flea'd snobs, surely.

βrian:

"Floyd Knob" is an alternative name, or so I was told by a dear former native daughter.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:13pm
KimSorise:

Yeah - it has a few "alternative" names
Avatar 7:14pm
βrian:

Oh wait. I think Kim's version is the one I remember. Ok. No matter.

Felling pyramidal.

Parq:

I have mastered the bass clarinet and will be joining The Ex on their next U.S. tour. #alternativefacts

Did you march, Doug? What was the turnout like in PA?

northguineahills:

I have one Oneness of JuJu record that is spiritual Jazz, and another that is disco funk. Same band....

northguineahills:

I've found most of the Soul Jazz catalog on Spotify. I'm rather surprised.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:56pm
KimSorise:

I've never used Spotify - I do know some radio stations use it, so if there is a professional subscription then they should have a solid catalogue. Yep - Same band... funky either way

Doug Schulkind:

@βrian
I did not march (with the wussy excuse of "having to study.") My daughter was taking her SATs, or should would've been storming the barricades. My wife, however, did participate. And she knitted a pussyhat.

Pittsburgh actually had two marches. The main one was about 25,000, which is almost 10% of the population. There was another march of about 1,000 that was part of an annual anti-racism event. My wife joined the second throng.
