Just went to refresh and straighten out for myself the origin of Mah Nà Mah Nà -- I get mixed up. And Wiki sez after its film soundtrack appearance and other versions, it "gained notoriety in English-speaking countries" when featured in Red Skelton sketches in '69-'70, and that -- not Muppets or anything else -- is exactly what I often associate it with...those moon creatures mucking about in the Skelton show.
