Found an auction for 2000lbs of used records (not counted weighed), buy it now price was just $100. The only problem is I'd have to rent a U-Haul and drive 5 hours to collect it and then I'd have to figure out where to store it while I sorted through a literal ton of records.

Booz:

Today's show hits four or five different kinds of sweet spots, then starts the series over again. Spit-take (Newley, Alice Cooper), best-songs-ever (Sundays, Lords of the New Church), fresh-baked (Gunn, Tyler, Kero Kero), and AAAHHH (Lai, Cher).
  10:50am
John in Bklyn:

If it was now, Cher could have mobilized an army on social media to call out the racists and bigots!!

FUN FACT: In the '70s, my grandma pronounced Cher's name as "churr."

Graham's vocals remind me a bit of Nick Saloman at times -- which is a complement because I like the Bevis Frond.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:25am
Joe McG:

I hear that, paul! I hear some Costello in there, too, I think. Maybe even a little Kevin Ayers, if he were an indie rocker!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:26am

I hear a little bit of Richard Thompson too.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:27am

@steveo-one of the kids in The Wire (McNulty's kids) was listeing to something really heavy. McNulty walks in (he's got them for visitation that weekend) and he says"What's that?" and they go "Dead Meadow". I was kinda impressed. That was as good a TV moment as The Dickies on CPO Sharkey back in the 70's.
  11:40am
Brendan:

Hearing some Joe Jackson chord changes in the mix too
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:41am

@Brendan: Graham has a very nice mix of influences that he's assimilated so beautifully.

Wow, I'm really enjoying Graham Brice's music, singing and songwriting both.

@Brendan -- I was about to say the same thing! That singing along with the descending changes reminded of that '80-era Joe Jackson. @Joe McG -- Man, this "Ask Me To" is a helleuva track to be recorded for your show! It's fabulous!
